The Design Partnership has worked with this client since 2006 when we provided design services for a small warehouse addition.
In 2010 we completed plans for a 2,500 S.F. build out of office space in their existing mezzanine area.
Most recently the client commissioned TDP for the planning of a 34,000 S.F. addition onto the South side of the existing building. After several design refinements the client decided to employ a phased approach to their needs, due to market place volatility in their industry.
Completed in the fall of 2012, the first phase project is a 13,000 S.F. addition to expand their production capabilities in both floor area and clear inside height. Warehouse and shipping functions were also provided.
The addition was designed using reinforced CMU walls, structural steel roof system and concrete slab on grade. Subsurface soils were corrected using a geo pier system since the addition is built on loose fill materials. The CMU wall design approach was used to match the look of their existing building.
