Eden Prairie, MN

The Design Partnership worked with Anderson Development on this proposed 7.5 acre mixed use project.

The vision of this development is an urban village mixed use project offering high quality living, support services and recreational amenities. Located just steps from the southwest light rail station (Golden Triangle Station), the project will provide approximately 800 rental apartments in 9 and 10 story towers, atop 4 levels of ramp parking. The parking will include up to 200 park and ride stalls for the LRT and a fleet of “smart cars” and bicycles for short term use. First floor retail space totaling 40,000 SF will provide goods and services for the village and community.

The project offers living options for those who desire a “live where you work” lifestyle. There are 20,000 jobs within walking distance of the site, and other major employers a short ride away on the LRT or shuttle.

The project will be the anchor for future redevelopment in the industrial park. Walking and bike paths connecting with other city parks, retail and support services, and additional housing is part of the City of Eden Prairie long range plan. The City has project a need for 2,000 housing units in the near future. This development will jump start that process.
